Lizards and dragons...

Six foot leaning on a lizard chest
two red dragons ironed on his vest
all that money you deserve the best
I’m impressed, I’m impressed, I’m impressed

Nothing makes me happier than…

Dear Bart,

I found you! It’s been so long since I’ve talked with you, and I was more than pleasantly surprised to see that your web site has been expanded to include international interests.

I was feeling a bit sentimental the other day, and I decided to look you up. We haven’t talked since some time in 1998, and I believe that you were just married. I was having family problems, and you were so kind as to try to advise me. I was so curious as to how things were going for you that I just started plugging your name in here and there, hoping for something. Well, finally I found your web site for your band.

Nothing makes me happier than to know that you are still following your dream! Your talent is so amazing, and I would have been brokenhearted to know that you weren’t still doing your music. It doesn’t surprise me at all to find out that you have reached into the international market. I read all of those reviews, and I really smiled to see that you were being enjoyed in other countries, too. Hey, you never know! Maybe you’ll be the next David Hasselhoff! You know how he was extremely popular abroad! Oh yeah. I can see it now. You are on stage in Austria or Germany, and the girls are throwing their bras and panties on stage! Eeeps!

Seriously, though, it is an incredible adventure that you are beginning. I just hope that it takes you over smooth yet scenic roads.

You have a daughter! When I saw her name, though, my heart stopped for a brief moment. Her name was one that we had discussed while we were engaged and planning our future family. You did it. Admittedly, it was a bit of a breath-taker, but I’m glad that you fulfilled yet another dream. Nothing makes me happier than to know that you are peacefully and happily taking one dream at a time and checking it off on that proverbial life-long list. You have your wife, your daughter, and your music. What more could a guy want, eh?

I wish you a lifetime of happiness, Bart, and I just hope that when you become big and famous, you’ll send me backstage passes to any concerts that might be coming near me.

Don’t forget me. I’ll never forget you.

Your forever friend,

Maggie
