I always want to end the day on a good note. Since I've started this journal just a few days ago, it seems as if I only have things to gripe about. That's so far from the reality. So, let's see! *thinking* Have I mentioned that I have three more days off before I have to go to work?? Yay for me! Actually, I should go into school this weekend and spend some time setting up the computers that have been dumped in my room. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for the computers! They are the computers that teachers had as theirs before our principal bought new computers for them this year. Well, actually, last year he bought us all new computers and the old ones were spread out throughout the upper grades (4-6), and this year he bought more. Therefore, the oldest of the "teacher" computers are now in my room. By golly! I will probably have my very first computer back again! That's good, cuz I don't think I ever deleted my Netscape mail from it. Ooops! *laughing* Anyway, I have about...*visualizing and counting the computers in my head*...nine or ten computers that are in my room from which I need to choose. I'll only keep five or six. I don't have a whole heck of a lot of room... or time, for that matter! I do like to have five or six for incentives in my classroom, though. Educational games that incorporate what I'm teaching is a good thing. They are also an excellent source for remedial students - practicing things that they don't understand, hoping to gain a better sense of the concepts. This is probably a bad format for me really....the online journal. I mean, for Heaven's sake, it makes it so easy to just ramble on and on and on, and not really say anything. I just wrote how many paragraphs about why I may go into school this weekend! *laughing* Sunday night I think that I'll go out of town with my pooch, Lucky. I don't know where yet, but I gotta do something! Having rambled on enough tonight, I'm going to go to bed. Goodnight all!
